It's been a while since I've updated the club and crop listings on these pages so I've just added lots of new details. If you've not used the club listings here before, here is a round up of what you'll find:
There are currently over 150 clubs and crops listed here, and they're based all over the country. To help you find one close to you, I've divided them into geographical regions (it's all quite general and the groupings were done by me, so I hope you can find what you need).
Here are the regions:
* Scotland
* East (including Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire)
* North West (including Cheshire and Manchester)
* North East
* Wales
* South East (including Kent, London, East Sussex, West Sussex, Brighton & Hove, Essex, Surrey, Middlesex, Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire)
* South West
* South coast (including Hampshire, Dorset, Southampton and Jersey)
* Yorkshire
* Midlands (including Nottinghamshire, Worcestershire, Derbyshire and Northamptonshire)
If you click on any of these you'll be taken to a page with all the clubs I currently have details for in that area.
Alternatively, you can search the blog for placenames near to you. Using the Search box in the top-left corner, type in the name you're looking for and then choose 'Clubs and Crops' from the menu below. Click the 'Search' button and that will show you any blog posts I've made that include the place you're looking for. However, unless there is a club or crop in the specific place you're searching for, you won't get any results - that's why the geographical regions are handy!
If you run a club or crop and your details aren't on the blog, drop me an email at scrapbookinspirations@futurenet.co.uk. I need your club name, meeting time and place and contact details. If you want to update your details, email me at the same address and tell me what's new.
If you're planning on going along to any of the clubs or crops listed here, it's definitely a good idea to contact the organiser first, as the details may have changed. Every club varies - some charge a small entry fee to attend, some provide tools or materials and others nothing at all, so it's best to call or email first so you know exactly what to expect!

Marieke Vermeulen's distinctive style has graced our pages one a couple of occasions - I love the way she uses colour and bold shapes. So I was thrilled to find some free downloads on her blog - she's made some bright die cuts and striped and dotty papers. Thanks Marieke!

November Issue - Claire Malvern's Envelope Template

If you enjoyed Shimelle Laine's transparent mini book in the November issue, you may want to try one yourself. Here are some extra tips from Shimelle to help with the construction, plus a couple of pictures that we couldn't fit in the magazine:
Sewing the transparent acetate can be a bit tricky, so make sure you have a spare sheet or two to allow for practice! To sew on your machine, start with a sharp, new needle and a longer stitch length than you would use on fabric. Make a test strip with two layers of transparency and see how your stitch looks. Transparencies are less forgiving than paper, so you may need to adjust the tension if the stitches appear to be too loose or too tight on your test strip. Once you complete your book, replace your needle. Some transparencies become quite sharp and can blunt or splinter your needle – trust me, the stress isn't worth it when you next go to sew on fabric and your needle is clumsy or about to break! If you prefer to sew by hand, select a strong thread and punch holes in both layers of the transparency with a paper piercer. Just use a ruler for even stitches or punch the holes unaided for a more random look. Once you have your pages punched, you're ready to relax and sew everything into place. Take the time to make your knots pretty – with transparent sheets, there's no place to hide the end of the thread.
