Every month I write a column in the news section of the magazine highlighting blogs I like, or ones that have been recommended to me. I love to here about your blogs too, so drop me a line if you'd like me to visit. Here are the blogs from the November issue:
A Print a Day
Download a different free pattern from A Print a Day and use (in a non-commercial way, of course) to your heart’s content. Well worth a visit.

Mini book magic
We love Erin Zamrzla’s idea for transforming paper scraps into teeny books, bound with a simple bookring. For more creative ideas visit erinzam.com/blog
Color Lovers
Get colour inspiration, mix palettes, peruse patterns and keep up with the latest colour trends all at colorlovers.com. It’s no exaggeration to say that this is the ultimate online resource for colour!

Scraps, the city and me Katherine May is one of the most exciting scrappers around! Visit scrapsthecityandme.typepad.com or turn to p66 of the November issue to see her pages in the gallery.

World Beach Project
Sue Lawty, artist in residence at the V&A museum, is inviting people to post creative beach photos onto a web-based map. To take part make a pattern on the beach using stones, photograph it, and then post your image onto the map. Take a look at the gallery to see photos from all over the world.
Our friend Flickr
Have you discovered Flickr yet? Sign up for a free account and you can upload photos to your own page, adding captions and comments, and organising in any way you like (it’s also a handy way to back up your digi images). Share your Flickr address with friends and family so they can keep up to date with your latest photos. Flickr is also a wonderful source of inspiration. Use the search function to find photos on almost any subject; searching for colours, or combinations of colours is particularly rewarding.
